A demonstration by SOL Connect

Our event is now fully booked and we look forward to an inspiring and informative day tomorrow at St Bryce Kirk where we will hear from Claire Chue Hong our new SDS Options Advisor and enjoy a presentation from Laura Doidge at SOL Connect - Support for Ordinary Living on the difference SOL Connect has made for individuals.

People can use their SDS budget to pay for systems such as this and it will be an invaluable day in raising awareness of this for service providers and our own staff group.
We will feed back information about SOL connect and the role of technology via our SDS Options website (about to launch!) and the SDS Options facebook page.

Technology definitely plays a role in independent living! There are tons of apps out there that can help with things like budgeting, cooking, and even keeping track of medical appointments. Having a smartphone or tablet can definitely help make life a little bit easier.
