Independent Living Project (Fife)
Managed by Disabled Persons Housing Service (Fife) the new independent service will be run alongside existing housing options and self directed support options.
The new ILP(F) team will primarily assist eligible individuals in exploring their potential in becoming employers of their own Personal Assistant (P.A.) or support/care staff to live independently (Self Directed Support Option 1 or as part of a mixed selection Option 4).
ILP Fife Co-ordinator, £25,074p.a.( pro rata; 17.5 hours/week post)
Be a spokesperson for the new service. Lead, develop and supervise team members to deliver project aims. Raise awareness and build relationships with disabled individuals, their carers and families and also with referral agencies including health and social care colleagues. Self motivated, driven and up for the challenge?
Independent Living Officer, £22,143 p.a. (pro rata: 34 hours/week post)
The ILO has a crucial role in delivering the new Fife ILP. A key player in delivering options to assist individuals who are considering employing their own staff and if this is right for them. A fantastic hands on role to make a real difference in peoples lives.
ILP Admin Officer, £15,825 p.a. (pro rata: 17.5 hours/week post
A part time role of paramount importance in ensuring the smooth running of the project. You should have proven skills and experience to work unsupervised, at all times foreseeing and planning ahead for what is required. A go-to person ready to support team members to deliver day to day – usual reception, telephone, IT and filing skills of course required!
All posts are Fixed Term Contract to 31 March 2018 and subject to funder review for on going funding. Posts are supported via funding by Fife Health & Social Care Partnership.
