Fantastic news for a couple that Rebecca, Private Sector Officer, has been working with to find a solution to enable them to live independently in their own home.
Hats off and big hugs to staff at SSAFA in Kirkcaldy who worked very hard to ensure the total donations were brought together to enable work to begin on their home. This help was possible as both customers had spent time in the Forces in their younger years and donations from Soldiers Sailors Airforce Familes Association (SSAFA) were able to secure donations on their behalf.
This is a fantastic example of self funding a private sector solution. We hope more details can follow in future once all works have finalised.
