Mark your diary! Our AGM and Open Event is coming up on 5th November at St Bryce Kirk in Kirkcaldy. We are pleased to announce our main speaker will be John McArthur from Fife Council Housing Service who will update us on Scheme of Assistance (adaptations). Also in attendance on the day - Iain Haughey from Plan B, a Financial Social Enterprise who will be asking your feedback on topics of concern to you at this time. As always, this is to ensure that DPHS(F) provides services most needed/wanted by its customers. We are looking forward to a busy day launching our new sites, giving out a few freebies and inviting some interesting stall holders along (housing providers, service providers, etc) so folks can pop in - grab a scone and a cuppa and speak to us all.
Watch out shortly for information about our Financial Cuppa and Scone! We will be holding a few short sessions with an invited speaker/trainer who will give us important financial information and answer questions from our customers. Some items we have been asked about include - Can my home be sold to pay for my care? How Do I talk about Power of Attorney with my family member? If I sell my house to rent, what will happen about my equity?
