 VOLUNTEER PROJECT ASSISTANTS

How is all this possible with 2 members of staff and volunteer Board of Management?  With a lot of dedication and hard work, is the answer!  If you have ever attended an event where we have held a stall or done a presentation, you will realise that we do have support of volunteers in our project.  It goes without saying that the Board play a big part in our ongoing development by working on management issues.  Several of them also volunteer in the office – for example by producing the newsletter, updating the website and doing office duties.  In particular we have just recruited for Volunteer Project Assistants(VPAs) who you may hear from soon!  VPAs help us to keep our customer details up to date either by entering details into the database or by telephoning quarterly to check that our details are up to date.    So you may say hello to Kay or Malgorzata soon!  VPAs are part of our Homepoint, Communities Scotland funded project work – involving people who have had experience of housing difficulties or disability (and frequently both!) in our service delivery.

MAKE A DONATION!
Donations to enable our work to continue are always welcome.  We take this opportunity to thank our main funders who are Communities Scotland (HomePoint); Fife Council Social Work & Housing Services.
  • We are also grateful to Fife Special Charitable Donations Committee for their donation towards Open Days.
  • Thank you to our friends at the Lintel Trust who have provided money towards training of staff and volunteers in order that our service can work towards best practice in housing information and advice.
  • Thanks to everyone who enabled us to set up in our new office with furniture, blinds, p.c., filing cabinets, chairs, etc.  Couldn't have done it without you:   Fife Council Members Services; Viewforth Resource Centre Commitee; Fife Advocacy; CVS Fife; FFOTRA; Evans Business Centre; Apollo Blinds.
